PWN London: Head of Events


The Head of Events is responsible for the strategy, coordination and execution of all PWN London's events. Events are part of the key offering of PWN London and as such, Head of Events is a critical and visionary role, responsible for creating an events schedule that is aligned with the PWN London strategy and overall program for the year. This person is dynamic, fun, energetic with SUPERB project management and organisational skills with a fanatical attention to detail.


  • Creative visionary who is able to bring to life the core strategy via credible exciting events
  • Creating and managing the PWN annual events calendar
  • Owning the end to end events process steps (pre, during, post event activities). This includes:
    • Vision/idea creation, Events brief creation
    • Events planning
    • Events registration
    • Speaker/Venue search, logistics and liaison
    • Event execution
    • Post events review/survey
  • Collaborating closely with Head of Marketing &Comms, Mentorship & Memberships to ensure all events are delivered to high standards and achieving an excellent membership experience
  • Managing the post event survey process to drive feedback and continuous improvement 

Time Commitment

  • Approx 5-6hours per week (variable and dependent on creation of a support committee)


  • Proven experience in event planning, management and logistics
  • Strong attention to detail and professionalism in execution
  • Ability to network and engage at senior levels
  • Can work under pressure with the ability to improvise
  • Good local network including connections to venues and caterers with ability to negotiate good deals
  • An excellent communicator, demonstrating confidence in all interactions 
  • Dedicated and energetic with a sense of diplomacy and leadership
  • Committed team member with ability to work autonomously
  • Familiar with leveraging online tools and an ability to be trained on web platforms, including Eventbrite, Survey Monkey, GoToMeeting/Webinar
