Are you ready for the future of work?
It’s not an easy task to manage your career. It’s difficult no matter what you have as skills, background, personality, experience or qualifications. Companies are reorganizing and restructuring. Costs are being controlled more tightly and with climate change, pandemic aftershocks and conflict all around us there is a general air of uncertainty.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics are radically re-shaping the world of work and 2023 is seen by many as a year of major transition. By the end of this year some traditional lines will be blurred and you will find yourself interacting more and more with AI. You will ask questions and receive replies from voices on the telephone which do not belong to flesh and blood humans. Some human jobs will, for sure, continue to be replaced by automation.
Yet it is not all doom and gloom. There are still opportunities to be grasped. There are attributes that we humans posses, which (at least for the foreseeable future) cannot be replicated. That said, we will need to work with the changing technologies, not resist them.
