Non-Predatory Leadership - When Horses are "People Whisperers"
Many great leaders — Buddha, Alexander the Great, George Washington, Winston Churchill, were also excellent horsemen ; they often rode horses that no one else could ride.
It's not a coincidence! The mastery of a difficult horse, just like the leadership of a project team, requires excellent non-verbal interactions & a high degree of emotional intelligence in order to identify & resolve conflicts at an early stage, as well as to motivate the group to strive together towards a common goal.
Linda Kohanov developed this innovative approach where the horses become « people whisperers » : come discover a different way to approach team management inspired by the behaviour of horse herd leaders, and by the ancient "Master Herder" tribes that live among their cattle in Africa. You will learn about a new non-predatory collective approach that is compassionate and respectful of others, inspired by the behaviour of horse herds.
Lorraine's session will help you to:
-Understand group dynamics and leadership by observing herds of herbivores
-Learn about the multiple profiles of a leader, and which profile is best adapted to any given situation
