PWN Copenhagen: Balanced Leadership - bias in the workplace

23 May 2018 17:00 - 21:00 Copenhagen

This evening's event is divided in three parts:

17:00-17:30 Networking Session.

17:30-19:30 Inspirational talk. We are honoured to welcome Kirsten Drejer, who co-founded a successful biotech company and was the CEO for 16 years. She will talk about her career path, describe the insights to make a company successful, and inspire us to become a great leader

19:30-20:30 Presentation. Jenifer Clausell-Tormos is the Founder of Develop Diverse, a start-up helping organizations to Discover Talent Beyond Bias. She will drive us through research-based evidences of gender-biases in the workplace, which prevent us from believing we can be great leaders.

About our speakers:

Kirsten Drejer has 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. Before joining Symphogen as Co-founder and CEO, she held several scientific and managerial positions in Novo Nordisk. She is now a Board member of Symphogen and The Fund for Industrial Growth. She is on the Advisory Board of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences and a member of the Executive Leadership Group VL-42 University of Copenhagen, and the Danish Academy of Technical Sciences.

Jenifer Clausell-Tormos holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Technology Development. Her drive for gender balance and diversity has expanded her research interest to cognitive gender and stylistics. This led her to start her own company, which vision is to bring (gender) diversity to the workplace. Jenifer is our VP of Balance Leadership in PWN Copenhagen.
