PWN at Oslo Innovation Week: SDG - Shifting Diversity Gear

26 September 2018 17:00 - 21:00 Marmorhallen, Sentralen

While technological innovation is enabling cars to drive autonomously, social innovation is a vehicle that needs to be steered by humans, and it is time to shift gears! It is time to shift the diversity gear! Those sitting in the driver’s seat, the stakeholders in international organizations, politics, academia, business and communities have the responsibility to accelerate the advancement of diverse and sustainable leadership, to fuel the car with human centred innovation and positive disruption, as well as to equip society with a roadmap towards achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

As an international organization devoted to gender-balanced leadership, PWN is aiming to be a driving force bringing these stakeholders together to advance gender equality in a new society. At our event, we will take these leaders on a ride to explore their ideas on innovative approaches towards shifting the diversity gear. We have invited delegates from globally operating organizations and businesses, as well as educational facilities and community leaders who will present their success stories on getting these five crucial groups of stakeholders on board. From their unique viewpoints, they will share experiences and consider new approaches both from a global as well as a local perspective. Join us on this tour in exploring and discussing the way we can tap into the maximum potential of our society at that moment the rubber hits the road and the ride begins to accelerate.
