PWN Norway Monthly Meeting October (Stavanger): “Female innovators and entrepreneurs – how to achieve success?”

ABOUT THE TOPIC

Professor Tatiana Iakovleva will share major trends from her research on female entrepreneurs and innovators. She will cover among other such aspects as:

  • Why there are so few women who dare to start a business?
  • Are women different from men with regard to innovation and entrepreneurship ability?
  • Do women have different goals and perceptions with regards to business?

Innovation and entrepreneurship process will be also discussed, including stakeholder-involvement and co-creation. This will be an interactive lecture, where Tatiana will prepare some practical exercises for PWN guests. Are you deep inside an entrepreneur or just curious about why women are often such successful entrepreneurs, so this session is definitely for you!

 

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Tatiana Iakovleva holds a Professor of Entrepreneurship in Stavanger Business School, Stavanger Center for Innovation Research, University of Stavanger, Norway.

Dr. Iakovleva’s research interests include personal and organizational antecedents leading to innovation and superior entrepreneurial performance on enterprise and regional level, female entrepreneurship, responsible innovation, as well as factors affecting entrepreneurial intentions. She is currently leading an international research project on responsible innovation across 6 countries funded by Norwegian Research Council and is a part of several ongoing research projects dealing with regional innovation systems and cross-industry collaborations.
