Women receive so many messages that tell them they are not ok.....not ok as they are; not ok to have needs and desires; not ok to feel worthy of having a voice, not ok to feel worthy just as they are full stop.
As a result many women end up getting caught up in an exhausting and overwhelming cycle of juggling roles and responsibilities, barely having enough time to look after themselves let alone ask themselves what they truly want in life, love and work. When we block, ignore or suppress our desire and desires we can end up feeling flat or depressed or on the other hand full of anger and rage.
We also find it difficult to connect with any sense of purpose in our lives. Desire can actually be harnessed to work for you in life rather than against you & Meditation plays a crucial role in this by helping you to move beyond your mind & connect with your deeper knowing within. This is a place where intuition is given space to come through so that it can guide you.
We are told that desire is the cause of suffering. Yet it is craving, clinging & chasing that are the root cause of our problems and our pain, not desire itself! Desire is a normal, natural part of being a human being and when we allow ourselves to embrace it we feel alive, full of vitality and aligned with how we want to live our lives.
