PWN Zug & Zurich webinar: The Joy of Giving – Generosity and Neuroscience

17 April 2019 19:30 CET - 20:30 CET online

The season of giving is behind us.  We are at that in between time where carnival season reminds us that summer is coming, sweets get thrown and given to excited children watching colourful processions go by.   Back at work, we give of our time, knowledge and input in our roles or supporting colleagues or friends seeking advice.
We all know how good it feels to give. But it's not just about the smile on their face or words of gratitude. Research shows that generous people are generally happier and more content. In continuation of our discussion on gratitude, generosity and giving back in December 2018 Andy Habermacher, founder of Leading Brains, neuroleadership expert and coach, will share fascinating insights about what happens in our brains when we give.
We will discuss:

  • natural, secondary and reward mechanisms
  • how altruism stimulates reward and what influences altruism
  • undermining effects: how paying for certain things actually lowers their value

This webinar will feature a Q&A session, and is free for PWN members.
Don't miss this opportunity to better understand the positive effects of generosity on yourself
