PWN Zug & Zurich: Professional Returnship Programme

Hosted by the Institute of Financial Services Zug and in partnership with Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts

Returning to work after a career break of several years can be difficult. First, explaining a long career gap on a résumé is challenging and can discourage anyone from even trying. Second, a long break is often associated with outdated skillsets. This compounded with a lack of strong professional networks and a lack of confidence can make finding an interesting job with good career prospects nearly impossible.

Who should attend?  Women and men who voluntarily took a career break of several years to raise children, care for aging or sick relatives, or for other personal reasons.

Objectives

• To present our newly launched Professional Returnship Programme
• To have an open discussion on the challenges faced by women and men wanting to re-join the work environment
• To get participants views on what an effective returnship programme should look like
• To provide participants with valuable insights on how to pave the way to relaunch their careers
