SOLD OUT /// For the second workshop of our PWN International Hub programme we are delighted to welcome Emilie Berquez, founder of Vino Social Club, specialized in wine and gastronomy history and trainer for professional customers (wine shops, hotels and restaurants). She also animates tastings for wine lovers. Emilie will guide you into a unique multisensorial journey. You will discover 4 cultures and countries through the tasting of 4 wines belonging to the new and the ancient world. If you are passionate about wines and cultures come and join us on Tuesday February 4th.
The workshop has been conceived by PWN Paris International Hub programme and thanks to the support of its VP Marie-Laure Barrau.
We are now getting to the heart of cultural diversity represented by the gastronomy and the traditions linked to the crop and production of wine in 4 specific regions. Emilie will drive you into a blind tasting that will make you travel through the flavours of faraway countries; you will discover the subtlety behind these wines before their origins are revealed. Emilie will disclose the savoir-faire of niche winemakers, the history behind each grape and parcel as well as emerging trends such as organic and natural wine.
Through this wine tasting you will learn the history of wine, the worldwide supply chain from a cultural and business perspective, along with some reflections on the place of gastronomy according to cultures and a special testimony of entrepreneurship in the wine sector.
Please note that this event will be held in English.
