PWN Paris - After work Top Executive: breaking the glass ceiling in the fashion industry

The TOP Executive team launches a new serie of networking opportunities and business exchanges . For each after work, we are proposing to our members belonging to  a specific  industry, sector , or function  to discover the testimonials of two among them and to discuss experiences and successes. To start with the fashion industry.

Gathering around a glass of wine or a drink will give us a nice and efficient opportunity to unveil and share our experiences of executive women and to network ..this time in the fashion industry , with 2 testimonies:

Laurence Armand will discuss how she had to face  two roles : being a general manager in a retail organization, and a member of the management committee 

Aged 57, with a strong retail experience in fashion goods, from strategy to operational issues, trade negotiations and partnerships, I'm very sensitive to team leadership et change management. I dealt these different issues as Business General Manager in Le Bon Marché et Franck&Fils, LVMH Group. My next step consists in consulting for retailers ( general management, training, …) 

Agnès Desmas will address how to deal  with the family members and fashion designer, owners of the company, when being part of the management committee .  

Aged 53, thanks to experience as Management Controller and Chief Financial Officer within LVMH Group and Escada Group respectively, I spent the last 15 years as General Manager, in environments of luxury / high-end brands’ transformation (Escada, Kenzo Takada, Michel Klein, Ventilo).
