Mercer: Robert Baker Appointed Mercer's Diversity and Inclusion Consulting Leader for Europe and the Pacific

PWN Global's long standing corporate partner, Mercer, a global consulting leader in advancing health, wealth and careers, has announced the appointment of Robert Baker as its Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Consulting Leader for Europe and the Pacific region. Many of you already know Rob as the Co-President of PWN Global (and formerly the VP Engaging Men - the first man to sit on the PWN Global Board). 

Based in the London office, Mr Baker will drive growth in Mercer’s diversity and inclusion consulting services throughout the region by helping clients build the diverse and inclusive workforces they need for the future.  He will ensure Mercer’s global D&I thought leadership from its “When Women Thrive” project as well as research on parental leave, LGBT benefits and pay equity is promoted and shared with clients. He will also be working to help further grow Mercer’s specialised D&I client peer to peer networks.

Mr Baker’s experience at Mercer has included 20 years as an investment consultant, helping build Mercer’s European presence as well as developing its consulting services for multinational companies. More recently, as a Global Client Director, he has been responsible for managing some of the firm’s largest multinational client accounts. In addition to his role as Co-President of PWN Global, Rob is also a member of the steering committees for Mercer’s Gender Parity Networks for Europe and the Pacific region, and an ambassador for Mercer’s “Men Matter” campaign.
