Rockwell Automation Celebrating International Women’s Day with PWN Global #EachForEqual

PWN Global was delighted to join Professional Women’s Council for Rockwell Automation earlier this month in Katowice Poland to celebrate IWD2020 #EachForEqual.  Organisations at differing stages of diversity initiatives, from kick-starters to diversity award winning organisations contact PWN Global to form partnerships, and to tap into our knowledge and expertise.

Since 2017 we have been collaborating with Rockwell Automation on their commitment to advancing gender balanced leadership, participating in numerous events on the business case for gender diversity, launching their Professional Women’s Council towards sharing practical research elements on how to create inclusive cultures.

Last month we joined them for a full day event around the topic ‘Networking & Mentoring for Career Success’. Carina Furlong, Global Co- President and Dr. Lorraine Tilbury, member of our Corporate Partner team and former VP of Mentoring facilitated a high impact session focusing on the following topics:

  • How Mentoring can help advance your Career
  • Personal Branding- Building Credibility & Visibility, how to build your own talent to be more visible
  • Building & Maintaining Professional Networks- how does it help in a future role and does it expand your opportunities to grow
  • Speed Networking- value of Internal networking to support your career in 2020 & beyond

Rockwell Automation Training Session with PWN Global Susana Gonzalez, President of Europe, Middle East and Africa opened up the session by sharing data that demonstrates they are going in the right direction and supporting their efforts to grow an inclusive culture.

We were also joined by Rebecca House, SVP General Counsel & Secretary, from the US, who shared the commitment of the global leadership team around supporting diversity and inclusion. Both leaders collaborated, shared and engaged for the full event.

Rockwell Automation wants to develop an inclusive culture, and has paid great attention to being gender neutral, discussing themes that are beneficial to women and men, and have worked with a top down and bottom up approach. They have created strong momentum and have the support of their leadership team to make this happen. We look forward to supporting them in further collaborations.

PWN Global often works with organisations in this way to help kick start their gender balanced leadership programs. For those interested, we offer a range of day and half-day consultancy services. If you'd like to find out more, we'd love to hear from you.
