PWN Global Newsletter Q1 2022
Happy New Year!
Dear Members,
dear Friends,
As we approach the end of January, the year has
indeed got off to a flying start with lots of new projects and plans
to look forward to.
For those of you who made New Year’s
Resolutions, we hope that they were good ones and that you honour
yourself by sticking to those resolutions that will serve you well in
2022.
PWN is a large, international network, and we
want to strengthen its position to have more impact with political and
management bodies, and also with the women we serve. Our desire is to
accompany them in their development, and support them in gaining
confidence and finding their unique leadership style so they can all
take their place and flourish successfully.
Our goal is to continue the growth of PWN
Global with the launch of new City Network locations, and by
attracting new members, and of course, retaining our strong and loyal
membership base.
We continue to develop our program offering for
women, with activities including international mentoring and the
Virtual Entrepreneurship Programme (VEP), for which we are closing the
second season. In addition, we will continue to address the needs of,
and support, companies in making gender diversity the norm - be sure
to watch our for details on our new TandeMW programme, in the
future.
To make these goals a tangible reality, and to
boost our international network further, we need an updated platform.
We are still working hard on this project and will be seeking your
ideas, support and volunteer efforts to deliver this project. We will
be in touch with more detailed information in due course.
Gender Balanced Leadership in 2022
Gender balanced leadership is, and always will
be our primary mission.
It is for this reason that we need to enrich our
team of volunteers with committed women and men. Check
out our latest volunteer opportunity descriptions, and get in
touch (and please do forward the opportunities to others who you think
maky be suitable candidates!).
Let's all use the strength of the network to
serve our cause.
Finally, we need partners, philanthropists and
supporters to help our volunteers achieve these ambitions goals. The
whole of the PWN
Global team is at your disposal if you know a company, a
foundation or even an individual, that wishes to support us at an
international level. Let's share our knowledge and contacts to become
stronger together.
Please take the time to check out some of the
great articles in this first quarter edition of our newsletter:
activities of our city networks, book recommendations, latest news
and expert research.
We hope you enjoy this quarter's newsletter and
all the interesting articles it contains. Please feel free to share
our newsletter with your own networks that you think would like to
know more about the PNW Global network.
We have much to do and, of course, we are always
stronger together - more than ever.
Warmest regards,
Virginia and Nadine
