VP Marketing & Communication

Francesca Pessina

I have spent most of my career as a communication and marketing manager for large companies in Denmark. I have experience in various industries, including food and beverage, tech, digital media, and—most recently—manufacturing.

From a very young age, I have desired to become an author; I have always been fascinated by the power of words to influence people's thoughts and actions, and my studies in communication and corporate communication directly resulted from that. I'm natural at improving and giving structure to processes, combining my drive for humanistic subjects with a scientific approach to life.

On a personal note, I have a passion for technology and innovation, a deep love for nature, and a commitment to sustainability. I also adore traveling and getting to know new people and cultures.

Christina Joseph

I consider myself an introvert with an adventurous spirit, which has led me to explore new opportunities in life—including my move to Denmark after living and working in India. I began my career as a Finance Analyst at Maersk, and then transitioned to my current role as a Financial Controller at Falck. I continuously seek growth opportunities and like to challenge myself personally, which currently involves trying to master the Danish language.

As VP Membership at PWN, I look forward to building a community where like-minded individuals can thrive, both personally and professionally. On a personal note, I love to travel and explore different cultures and cuisines. A cup of coffee and a good book is my idea of having a relaxing time.

Community Manager

Hanna Tsylina

Meet Hanna, she comes from a family of energy professionals in Belarus. With degrees in Thermal Power Engineering and Innovation Management, she built her career from the ground up, embracing challenges in an industry where women are still underrepresented. She began as an engineer, working with complex equipment, biofuels, and chemical water treatment. Later, she transitioned into financial planning, gaining expertise in energy economics. Just four years later, she was planning daily power generation, balancing supply and demand, and executing energy trading for the National Power Grid—proving that women can thrive in highly technical fields. When her husband's career brought their family to Denmark, Hanna embraced reinvention. While raising their son and immersing herself in a new culture, she discovered new ways to grow and see life from a different perspective. She joined Toastmasters to refine her leadership and communication skills, volunteered in international networks to support professionals in career transitions, and also expanded her expertise in data analytics and energy trading. Now, she is excited to bring her open mindset and passion for empowering women to a community where women support and inspire one another—saying YES together to boundless growth, new achievements, and strong leadership.
