Joana Garoupa is a Portuguese executive with over 25 years of experience in marketing and communication for major brands, both in international and multinational contexts, having worked with companies like DDB, McCann, Publicis, Siemens, Galp, and Omnicom Media Group, among others. Known for her disruptive spirit, she has recently focused her talent on the major challenges related to Corporate Culture and Sustainability.
In 2022, she published the book Manual de Sobrevivência para o Mundo Corporativo in Portugal and Brazil, and she is currently the general director of Garoupa INC, a communication agency focused on ESG. Additionally, she teaches communication at various universities, such as Católica Business School in Porto, IADE, and ISLA. She is also a frequent speaker at business events, where she encourages everyone to make the most of opportunities and themselves.
