Eva Kanic-Pieterse and I have been mentors for the PWN Mentoring Program four times. My experience of being a mentor is that it teaches me something each time. To other professional women out there I would say that we as women stand stronger when we share knowledge and experiences and learn from each other. Be a mentor or a mentee. I can recommend it.
As a mentor in the PWN mentorship program (autumn 2023 cohort), it was an opportunity of mutual exchange and connection with my mentee. The program organizers were very present and closely followed up where needed to ensure the progress of the mentoring.
It is crucial for us professional women to find inspiration in these precious connections in our professional network. New perspectives help breathe life into our daily routine and may lead us into (re)defining what fulfills us. I’d therefore definitely recommend this program to anyone who is considering joining as a mentor or as a mentee!

"I was paired with a mentor who had an inspiring career in the field I wanted to transition into. She provided me with tools to identify my unique strengths, shared tips and tools on cover letter writing, and helped me to refine which companies and opportunities to focus my energy on. Fortunately, a couple of months into the program I was offered to interview at two different companies, and my mentor provided incredibly valuable coaching throughout the interview process.
