Tim Cullen MBE

Description

Tim Cullen is the founder of the Oxford Programme on Negotiation at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and has taught negotiation in around 30 countries. He is a Professor of Management Practice at the Guanghua School of Management, Peking University in Beijing, China. Tim is also a former visiting Professor at Stockholm Business School, China. In June 2014, Tim was made a member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the Queen’s Birthday honours for services to international financial management. Tim’s early career was with Ford Motor Company and Continental Bank, before joining the World Bank, where he worked for 21 years and was the Chief Spokesman for most of the 1990’s. Tim was introduced Scandinavia in the late 1950’s when his father was a diplomat at the British Embassy In Stockholm (and helped to negotiate the convention that established the European Free Trade Association (EFTA). As a university student Tim spent two summers working at the planteskole in Birkerød and he has maintained his links with Denmark ever since. He is an established commentator on international affairs has been an outspoken critic of Brexit and the negotiations that took place between the UK and the EU.
