PWN Dublin: Engaging Men Programme Workshops (for men only)

PWN Dublin: Engaging Men Programme Workshops (for men only)

About the Event

Now more than ever, achieving gender-balanced leadership is essential for creating thriving, innovative workplaces.

At PWI Dublin we firmly believe that this mission cannot succeed without male allies.

Why a Programme for Men?

Research consistently shows the vital role men play in driving progress. A Boston Consulting Group study reveals that when men are actively engaged in gender equality initiatives, 96% of companies report progress. By contrast, in companies without their involvement, only 30% see advancement. This makes sense: globally, men hold approximately 75–80% of executive roles and 60% of line management positions. Their decisions directly impact the careers of their female colleagues.

But what’s in it for men?

The benefits are substantial. Becoming advocates for gender balance enables men to:
  • Enhance communication and collaboration with female colleagues,
  • Develop inclusive leadership skills, which are increasingly sought after,
  • Build more cohesive, productive teams, and
  • Strengthen their career prospects by becoming role models for inclusion.
At a time when many men are re-evaluating their roles in society and seeking ways to contribute positively, the PWN Dublin’s Engaging Men Programme offers a unique opportunity to lead change, both in the workplace and beyond.

Registrations for the two workshops will close at midnight on 1st April 2025.

Introducing the Engaging Men Programme

Introducing the Engaging Men Programme (launching on 12 March 2025), this programme is designed to inspire and equip men to become allies and agents of change for gender-balanced and inclusive workplaces.

Run in collaboration with Robert Baker a recognised global expert in allyship and inclusive leadership, the programme builds on successful global initiatives and will:
  • Highlight the benefits to men, particularly male leaders, of embracing inclusion and gender balance,
  •  Provide practical tools to develop inclusive leadership skills,
  •  Elevate awareness of workplace barriers faced by both women and men, and
  •  Foster collaboration between genders to achieve meaningful progress.
