PWN Milan: Roberta Toniolo

This quarter's award goes to PWN Milan President Roberto Toniolo.

Roberta has worked tirelessly with her team to lead the EU funded ME-TOTEM project - an initiative aimed at fostering gender equality in economic decision making, developing tools and strategies to support women in various stages of their career.

In the last 18 months ME-TOTEM impacted more than 100 people in all career levels across Europe, from students to C-suite, by discussing unconscious bias, HR policies and mentoring as key aspects to consider to reach gender balance in the workplace.

Results and findings of the project were disseminated through social media and events in eight European cities in 2016 (Amsterdam, Paris, Madrid, Brussels, Lisbon, Munich, Bucharest), culminating in Milan.

On the back of the ME-TOTEM closing event, Roberta's team also played host to the PWN Global annual offsite meeting, where PWN city network Presidents from around the world meet to discuss the strategic direction of our global association.

And, not satisfied with simply delivering the closing event for ME-TOTEM, Roberta also chose this as the perfect moment to rebrand her association from PWA-Milan to PWN Global, cementing the bonds that this Milan based network has forged with its global counterparts.

We can't help but be awe-inspired by what this individual volunteer has delivered with the support of her well-led team. Roberta, we salute you!
