PWN Madrid: Participate in Women Of Impact 2019, Cisco Conference

Under the slogan "Imagine Your Possible", in one day, Cisico's Women of Impact Group mobilized more than 15,000 employees, partners and customers from more than 100 offices located in 52 countries - and PWN Madrid was there to represent the PWN family. 

Robert Baker, Mercer's Leader of Diversity & Inclusion Consulting for Europe and the Pacific Region and PWN Global Co-President, talked about the potential of individual and corporate initiatives to turn the slogan "Imagine Your Possible" into a reality with clear benefits for both people and organizations.

PWN Madrid has actively participated in the celebration of the seventh edition of the Women of Impact 2019 event, a meeting organized by Cisco simultaneously in all its world offices to celebrate the International Woman’s Day. This year, the theme for the day was "Imagine Your Possible", and over 15,000 particiants had the opportunity to share ideas, resources and inspiration for their professional and personal development.

Together with Cisco’s employees, clients and partners, PWN's corporate partners such as Nokia, Pfizer and Mercer also participated in the event held at the Cisco offices in Madrid, united by the interest of sharing inclusion and diversity knowledge and experience

Following the welcome speech given to the attendees by Olga García, Regional Sales Manager of Cisco, participants followed the live intervention through Cisco TV of Wendy Mars, president of the company for the EMEA region. Robert Baker, followed on by talking about the potential of individual and corporate initiatives to turn the slogan "Imagine Your Possible" into a reality with clear benefits for both society and organizations.

The agenda for the day continued with reflections made by the expert in image and personal power coaching, Domingo Delgado, who shared his vision on the shift of the personal image paradigm and how to turn appearance into an experience of personal development.

As a final note, Magdalena Jakubicz and David de San Benito, Senior Corporate Counsel and Head of Corporate Affairs of Cisco, respectively, addressed the need to inspire technological vocations in women from an early age and have explained the details of their participation in the Green Light for Girls initiative.

 

The final highlight of the day was a live broadcast from Cisco’s UK office, touching base on the impulse to inclusion and diversity in the professional field.
