PWN Vienna is seeking Mentors

After an amazing round last year, our city network in Vienna is preparing for the PWN Vienna Mentoring Program 2019/2020, and this year they're opening the call to mentors around the world! 

PWN Global knows that Gender Balanced Leadership, diversity and engaging all the world´s talents positively affects decision making, economic sustainability and a happier society. Every PWN network around the world provides a safe space for local and global networking, ways to develop knowledge and skills and by giving access to our highly regarded Mentoring program. 

Mentoring is a cornerstone of PWN's offer to its members and the community at large, the brand-new Mentoring Coordination Team in PWN Vienna is passionately working to successfully develop the Program, implement innovative ideas, and engage as many Mentors and Mentees as possible.

PWN Vienna is currently seeing applications from Mentors interested in online / international mentoring. It is an amazing way to share your wisdom, offer guidance to your Mentees, and enhance your leadership skills and business network. 

What to expect from the PWN Vienna Mentoring Program?

• Mentors are matched with mentees to reach specific career or business-related goals.
• The program runs from October to June, with each small mentoring group meeting on a regular basis (either in person or remotely).
• Mentoring topics include leadership, entrepreneurship, career transition, job search, re-integration, self-management, work-life balance, cross-cultural working practice, and others.  

Besides the private mentor-mentee meetings, mentors and mentees can take advantage of group webinars, workshops, formal but also informal mentors, get-togethers, closed social media networking groups, continuous support from the Mentoring Coordination Team, and of course all PWN Vienna events and workshops throughout the year. An exciting year filled with professional and self-development opportunities awaits us, and we would love to have you on board!

Mentoring is recognised as a cost-effective and impactful way to prepare future business leaders. In the past three years, 60% of people who participated in a PWN Mentoring Program have gone on to achieve their life changing goal, including promotions and career changes.
