Entrepreneurship News

The second quarter was marked by a global pandemic, a largely weakened global economy, racial tensions that escalated over into violence, increased political friction, record jobless claims with 40 million people unemployed and continuing business failures. Covid-19 has pushed women out of work (just look at Italy). A year into the pandemic, we now have research on pandemic's economic impacts and real stories of how women confront the challenges.

What we've been up to...

The New Pillars of Support for Women in Leadership

We are proud to announce that our second Virtual Entrepreneurship Program and current VEP 2020 has been completed successfully with over 90 participants, 15 coaches, 7 facilitators and 8 modules on its 9-month program in collaboration with the EU Business School.

PWN Global would have never been able to fulfil its mission of meeting today's entrepreneurial women's needs without the support and generosity of our entire team and volunteers.

The success of the PWN Global Virtual Entrepreneurship Program 2020/2021 is a reflection of the ever-increasing dedication and enthusiasm all volunteers' display continually.

We believe in the potential of female entrepreneurship to change global social and economic change. And we believe empowered women should help to enable others.

PWN Global Entrepreneurship Academy

That's why we are launching an exciting Global Entrepreneurship Academy for 2021.

The Entrepreneurship Academy is an ambitious and unique initiative that has been designed to provide women entrepreneurs around the world with business and management education, coaching and networking to facilitate their growth journeys and equip them with the skills and know-how to successfully grow their business.

Patricia Zeegers, VP Entrepreneurship, PWN GlobalPatricia Zeegers, PWN Global's VP of Entrepreneurship, is joining the WEgate Community Council on behalf of PWN Global.

WEgate, led by the European Small Business Alliance (ESBA) and co-financed by the COSME programme.

The objective is to enhance women entrepreneurship in Europe by encouraging networking and improving the support effectively delivered to women entrepreneurs and motivating more women to start their business or support their business across Europe.

The Council will increase the WEgate community's impact by bringing together the different actors in co-creating a refreshed, more dynamic and vibrant community of women entrepreneurs.

Our organization is dependent on the product and financial support we get from corporations and individual sponsors. We are therefore inviting you to become one of this year's sponsors.
