PWN Milan: Marina Rinaldi Collaboration - Celebrating Uniqueness

PWN Milan together with 6 European city network (Rome, Paris, Nice, Madrid, Brussels and Amsterdam) has been working on a fruitful collaboration with the Italian fashion brand, Marina Rinaldi.

Marina Rinaldi is part of the Max Mara group and since its creation in 1980, promotes the universe of women's values, and shares the vision of beauty as awareness of each woman's uniqueness and value. These core value of valuing every woman, aligns very much with PWN Global’s own values, which is why the partnership makes so much sense.

The organisation has chosen to collaborate with PWN because they wanted an international network that was able to work locally; be agile; and, create a series of networking events with the same common thread.

Gini Dupasquier, President, PWN MilanGini Duspasquier, President of PWN Milan makes a valid point when she says, “Our organisations share a very important goal: the empowerment of women through self-awareness and networking as a tool for sharing and growth”.

The events ran between mid-October and mid-November, 2022, in Marina Rinaldi flagship stores and each event involved 30/40 women, who had the chance to participate in facilitated discussions on the important topic of “Empowerment through uniqueness” .

The sessions started with a mini workshops, where a PWN coach held a conversation with a woman, selected (for Milan and Rome events) by Marina Rinaldi. The conversation was an intimate journey that explored: the life; the choices; the resources; and the potential uniqueness that each of us can express and appreciate.

Witnessing this powerful exploration, the all-female audience was inspired to discussion their own feelings with an interesting exchange of viewpoints on the topic of uniqueness.

Opportunities such as this colaboration with Marina Rinaldi gives PWN the chance to work at an international level, creating a driving force for greater visibility for our network. In turn , this enables our volunteer-led organisation to sustain its commitment to empowering women worldwide.
