PWN Global Newsletter Q3 2022

Summer Edition

Dear members and supporters,

Over the next month, many of us will be taking some time off to recharge our batteries, enjoy friends and family, and refocus on those things that are most important to us.

After anothering challenging start to the year, I'm sure you join us in the need for a well-deserved rest.

In the past two years, PWN Global and its city networks have, like many NGOs and businesses, been impacted negatively by the global Pandemic. However, we are finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel, and this year has shown the positive signs of new growth for our global community. For the first time in 5 years, we saw our membership figures fall below 3000, and we're now happy to announce that we are almost back to pre-Pandemic membership levels with well over 3000 members.

When we return in September, after the Summer break, we will be launching several new initiatives, including our International Mentoring Program which will be launched at the end of the year. This program is for those of you who do not live close to an existing city network, or for those of you who need and internationally experienced mentor to support your career goals. It's a well known fact that mentoring is one of the most impactful ways of achieving your career aspirations and we want this program to be available to all our members, regardless of their geographical location.

If you're interested in getting involved, the Global Executive Lead for International Mentoring is seeking a project manager. If you think you have the requisite skills and would like to join this exciting project, please check it out on our Volunteer Roles page.

In other news, PWN Milan has been working hard to build a new global partnership with luxury brand Marina Rinaldi. Events will be launched with the brand in 9 of our city networks. This is a great demonstration of how solidarity in our network is helping make PWN's growth possible. We hope that this experience will open the doors to new partnerships of this kind.

Finally, we are working to advance the TandeMW Program - an existing gender incubator program that has been fully tested in PWN Lyon - to become a globally available program. Watch this space.....

In short, there are a lot of projects that are underway. Our energy  and motivation levels are high and we are committed to to building a successful future for our network, and for each of us. If you'd like to get involved in supporting any of these projects as a volunteer, please do get in touch. We would love to hear from you!

Enjoy this period of rest, and we'll see you in the Autumn.

Have a great summer!

Please feel free to share our newsletter with your own networks that you think would like to know more about the PWN Global network.

Warmest regards from your dedicated Presidents
