PWN Global: Fundraising and Innovation Team: Global Fundraising Coordinator

GLOBAL ROLE

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Fundraising Coordinator to join our dynamic team at PWN Global. As a Fundraising Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting our fundraising efforts by assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of fundraising activities and campaigns.

Fundraising Coordinator can oversee all fundraising efforts, set fundraising goals, and develop strategies for achieving them. They can coordinate fundraising campaigns and events.

 Overview

Location: Works remotely
Reports to:  Co-VPs Funding and Innovation
Status: Volunteer
Leadership dimension: Fundraising and Innovation Team
Budget owner: TBD
Time Commitment: 6hrs/wk (including meetings)
   

Key Responsabilities:

  • Campaign Support: Assist in the planning and implementation of fundraising campaigns, including online and offline initiatives.
  • Partnership Engagement: Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, and philanthropic foundations.
  • Grant/Project partnership Research: Collaborate with the Funding Research team to identify potential sponsorship /funding opportunities and assist in the development of proposals.
  • Events: Plan/Coordinate fundraising events, including donor appreciation events, galas, and online fundraising events
  • Database Management: Maintain and update donor/partner databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date  records.
  • Communication: Collaborate with the Communications team to create fundraising-related content for newsletters, social media, and the organization's website.
  • Donor Acknowledgment: Ensure timely and personalized acknowledgment of partners, including thank-you letters and recognition.

 Background and skills:

  • Proven experience, motivation and passion in fundraising or development for a nonprofit organization, with a focus on women's development and D&I being a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with partners/donors and stakeholders effectively.
  • Proficiency in fundraising platforms.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • A passion for advancing gender balanced leadership and diversity and inclusion.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a diverse team.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (if applicable).
