My message in 2020 focuses on the three As: Awareness, Accountability and Advocacy. Many organizations have embraced the notion of male allies in advancing women. While I strongly encourage these men, I have come to the conclusion that the term "ally" is just too soft and passive for the kind of change we want to drive in today's organizations. While male allies are important, being an ally implies standing alongside women, possibly mentoring them and supporting them quietly.
